We’re seeking new project partners
The IBL is transitioning to a new phase! Our central core of scientific engineers facilitated large-scale collaborative distributed research for an initial group of 20 labs. Now this central core seeks to work with new partners on new projects.
The IBL approach is a collaborative partnership between your research group and our team. You collect experimental data, bring a dataset of your choosing, or use data from our repository, and we support your neuroscience research through centralized processing, analysis, and visualization. Our expertise lies in:
Data Access & Processing – Public tools for data access, reorganization for usability, and AI-ready data loaders.
Comprehensive Analysis Pipelines – Including spike sorting, imaging processing, video analysis, behavioral modeling, and AI-powered analysis tools.
Community Engagement & Outreach – Workshops, training, and specifications for high research standards.
Cloud & Web-based Tools – Infrastructure for democratized access to analysis tools like auto-localization and pose estimation.
Data Visualization – Creation of graphical user interfaces, websites, and software packages.
Hardware – Consultation on data acquisition methods.
We are looking for partners who seek a collaborative approach and are committed to open science. We make all the tools we develop available to the community and facilitate the sharing of all the data that we and our partners work with. Geography is no limit; we can partner with groups worldwide. Through a generous grant from the Simons Foundation, we are able to provide our services for free - only data collection costs (if applicable) must be covered by your team.
