This is a reminder that we're having our first IBL Science Meeting on May 21st-23rd, 2018 in Paris at the Institut des Etudes Avancées (Institute for Advanced Study: https://www.paris-iea.fr/en/).
The main meeting is on May 22nd-23rd, all day. Please make sure to arrive on the 21st and leave on the 24th.
For members of the EB, we will have an extra meeting starting at 4pm on Monday May 21st at the Maison Suger (http://www.fmsh.fr/en) followed by dinner.
We will send out a detailed schedule shortly.
The cost of your travel should be covered by your Simons grant. You are also responsible for booking your travel and reserving the hotel of your choice in Paris. We have attached a list of recommended hotels near the Institut des Etudes Avancées.
Please make sure to book your flights and hotel soon as May is already high season in Paris.
Postdocs who are supported by your Simons IBL grant, or currently working on IBL-related projects, should attend. You are also welcome to bring along any postdoc who is interested in working for IBL and would like to find out more.
At this time, we would greatly appreciate if you could answer the following questions ASAP (reply to all to ensure that your email is cc-ed to Leslie Weekes and Ivan Gordeliy):
1- Can you confirm that you are attending?
2- Can you let us know the names of your postdocs who will be at the conference?
3- Do you have a project that you'd like to present?
